plplot-tcl-dev software package provides Tcl/Tk development support for PLplot, a plotting library, you can install in your Ubuntu 14.04 LTS (Trusty Tahr) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install plplot-tcl-dev
plplot-tcl-dev is installed in your system.
Make ensure the plplot-tcl-dev package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep plplot-tcl-dev *
You will get with plplot-tcl-dev package name, version, architecture and description in a table
